HAIR MYTHS - If I pull out a grey hair, will multiple grey hairs grow its place?

In short… NO! 

If you pluck one hair out of a follicle, only one hair will replace it as only one hair can grow per follicle! As for plucking grey hairs making other hair turn grey, this is a total myth. The surrounding hair will only turn grey once their own follicles’ pigment cells also die. 

Having said that, we wouldn’t actually recommend plucking hair from your head as it can cause infection, scar formation or could even lead to bald patches.
